Auditions…..complete! (sort of)

I flew back in to Florida this morning…on a flight that was way too early in my opinion. Naps are beautiful things. But this means that I am officially done with all my college auditions! (Yes there were only two…but that still means all are done, right? I know, so many).

I think the audition to University of Cincinnati’s CCM went well this weekend. I feel that I have improved a lot since my Butler audition back in October. I really liked the CCM village-the part of the school for all the CCM majors. It’s a collection of a few buildings, and close by is a dorm building with floors set aside specifically for CCM majors. I didn’t get to tour the rest of the university, but that might have been impossible, because since UC is a state university, it is huge.

I will find out if I am admitted to the dance department within the next two weeks. Have I ever mentioned I hate waiting? Because I do.

The title of this post says I am sort of complete with my auditions. I say this because I may have some summer auditions to complete. I haven’t decided yet. This summer is different because I am about to head off to college, so I may instead stick to programs in Florida that I am familiar with and are close by. Bonus: no cost of boarding!

In conclusion: I am decidedly done with my college auditions, and I hate waiting on admission decisions. Also, it did not snow in Cincinnati this weekend, and the part of me wanting to make a snow angel was disappointed.
